Well, we finally did it !

All five of us have rehearsed and performed together in various ensembles and productions over the years, and we always thought we "oughtta start a quintet ". With all of our busy schedules (teaching, parenting, working), it proved to be a challenge to find the time. But in the spring of '07 we actually got together and did some playing one evening. When we were through, there were various expressions of "what were we waiting for ?!", followed by excited discussions of repertoire, and plans for performances. So we're well on our way. And each time we play, there is a feeling of synergy, of musical compatibility and growth.
